Let’s celebrate 2016 with a Giveaway – Crochet and Knit Animal Lovie Books!

Let’s celebrate 2016 with a giveaway.  A choice of my Crochet or Knit Animal Lovie Blanket books.. woohoo!

I can’t believe it’s already 2016 and almost the end of January!  Where does the time go?  It seems the older I get the faster time seems to go.  I remember being a small child and feeling like a year to forever to end.  I wanted it to get to the end of course because that meant Christmas.   2015 was full of so many fun and new experiences.  One of them of course was release of my Crochet Animal Lovie book.   Later that year I completed a Knit Animal Crochet book which was released this month January 2016.   Some of you may have already seen it.

Both books are available at Joann’s,  Hobby Lobby and Walmart.  Some people have told me they have found it at other stores as well.  The Crochet Animal Lovie book also has a mini-book format that is available for sale only at Wal-Mart.  Unfortunately the Knit Animal Lovie book will not be made into the mini-book format.    Both books are also available for purchase online from LeisureArts.com   They also have a downloadable version.

I want to host a giveaway to welcome in 2016.  I will be giving away 3 signed copies of my Animal Lovie book.  The winners will be able to choose either the Crochet or Knit version.  I realize that everyone does both so this will give everyone a chance to choose the book the prefer.

To enter this giveaway just

1) become a member of this blog (It’s free and your info is never shared)  and

2)  add a comment below.  Something like “I want to win the Crochet Animal Lovie book”  or  knit book.

That’s it.   In 7 days I will choose the winners.  I will announce the winners with a follow-up blog post AFTER the winners have been notified.   The giveaway is opened worldwide.

These lovies are so fun and addictive to make.  They make perfect  gifts.   I hope you will enter the giveaway today and Good Luck!

      I would love to win the crochet lovie e-book. especially as they are suitable for boy or girl as a lot of crochet work is very pretty.

I am a thyroid patient and suffer from graves disease my hands become severely swollen and hurt a lot. Having watched you and following your instructions have helped with the swelling significantly.       I thought I posted but I must not have hit reply when my husband called and interrupted my writing it. if I duplicate plz forgive.

      I would love the Crochet book! my two year old granddaughter loves blankets, blankets of any kind and she had a couple of these as an infant. I missed out on so much of her first year including her 1st birthday because I was in the hospital in a coma, on life support. thanks to many prayers Im a living breathing miracle. I took up crocheting as a child but hadn’t for years since then. I really had the desire to begin again but thought with my severe psoriasis atrhitis which has me Ina wheelchair i never thought I’d be able to crochet again but thank God I tried and I don’t seem to suffer much pain or stiffness in my fingers when crocheting! oh happy times! lol anyway to shorten up this long post, I forgot most of what I knew, lost many memories in the coma but thanks to people like you YOLANDA and you youtube videos I have been relearning so much and made several projects for Christmas gift this year and many more planned for my granddaughter. So, thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with so many of us out there. You rock!!! wouldn’t you all agree? so Yoland your love, reply “agree”.

    I would love to win the Crochet Lovie Book. I’m getting ready to be a first time grandma. My grandson will be making his arrival into the world in the next few weeks and I am so excited to meet him. I have crocheted lots of things for him in the past 6 months and I only began crocheting in March of 2015 but I absolutely love it. I have made many things besides baby boy items. I try to crochet a new item atleast 3 times a week. I am constantly crocheting something. The only time my hands are idle is when I am sleeping. I absolutely love making things and have enjoyed and learned a lot from your videos. Youtube is an amazing place to learn how to make anything and I am very thankful for people like you who so graciously post tutorial videos so we can learn. Thank you for all your hard work.

    I need to start crocheting again. I would love to have a copy of the crochet animal lovie book. I now have 6 grandchildren that would love if I made them their own little animal lovie. So, please let me learn how to crochet again with you. I hear that you have a wonderful way of teaching. Is knitting hard to do? I have bursitis in my left shoulder that has left my left arm with atrophy. Do you think it is possible to do knitting with the physical limitations on my left side?

    I would love to get the Crochet Loves for my daughter. I taught her the basics of crocheting like a granny square after she had my 1st grandchild named Alexander and hard pregnancy of high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, having to move, and after nearly dying an emergency caesarean section to save them both when 2 weeks after Alex’s birth she had a complete break down with complicated postpartum to give her goals to focus on while she recovered and can take care of her son full time on her own. She is doing well and has surpassed the basics of crocheting. She is doing star afghans now due to YouTube videos and is teaching me 🙂 PLEASE pick us or let me know where I can buy a copy. Thanks

    I want to win the Crochet Animal Lovie book because my great aunt was making a blanket for my son while I was pregnant and she passed away before it was finished and my other great aunt finished the blanket and gave it to me for my baby shower and it is the best gift I have ever received besides my little man of course. But that blanket is my sons absolute favorite he calls it his angel blanket ! And I would love to learn how to crochet so I can give things to my children neices and nephews to remember me by!     I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to win the crochet Animal Lovey book. Just before Christmas my oldest granddaughter gave us our first Great Grandchild – Jonah. I have always loved making things for my kids and grandkids, but they are too old for kids stuff now and I miss doing it! In fact my oldest daughter just turned 50 last month so I started doing it for 50 years ago (If you think time goes fast just wait until you are 75 like me!!) I love your tutorials.

    hey yolanda i would LOVE to win your crochet book. i am a miltary wife overseas and crocheting is my happy place when things get a little tough or during those long hard deployments. if i win this book i would love to put it up to good use and crochet lovie blankets to all of the pregnant wives and new parents. Being far away from all of the family can be really tough sometimes but i know that with each others support things can get easier and i know this will make many families very very happy.
