Ok, so it’s not exactly a hat but I think it qualifies for Hat Monday since it’s worn on your head. (Did you see how I snuck this in?)
This headband is so fun and easy to make. You will be using medium weight yarn and a size J/10 6.00 mm crochet hook. What I love about this headband is that it’s a great way to use up your scraps and it’s a beginner level project. If you can chain, half double crochet, double crochet and sew a simple seam you can make this. I think making these in your favorite team colors is a great alternative to a hat.. and no more hat head : )
If you would like to purchase the written pattern (English only) It is available here at my Ravelry store.
As always the YouTube Video tutorial is free and you can click Here to view it.
I hope you enjoy today’s Hat Monday project. Happy Crocheting! Yolanda

I love it! But I always love your work. And you do it in such a way that it is easy to understand how to make your projects. Thank God for You!
aww, thanks, so glad you liked it.
thanks Karen
I have a question. I ordered a pattern (not from you, my first booboo. And it said that it was crochet. I just received it in the mail today. And it’s knit. I have heard that there’s a way to change the pattern to crochet. If you know how or could please tell me where to go find out, I would greatly appreciate your help. God Bless
It would depend on the pattern. There is no magical way of doing it. Have you contacted the seller. They may have a crochet version.
No I haven’t, but I will. I am sure it is my fault. I am gifted for messing up. Thank you for your reply. I so love your work, and for your love of God. I have a pattern that is my creation that I would love to share with you. It is a catfish sleeping bag. My male family members love the ones that I have made for them. And I can make one in two days. And they are very warm.
