Learn how to sew a Lining to your Crochet Bag

In this post I will show you how to sew a Lining to your crochet bag.   Follow these steps to line your bag.  You will need about 1 1/2 yards of fabric.  Please note, this lining fabric will show thru your granny squares so be sure to get a color you like and that coordinates with your bag colors.  For best results please block your Granny Squares BEFORE sewing on the lining.

You can purchase your fabric at your local fabric store.  I purchased my white fabric at Joann Craft and Fabric Store.    Hobby Lobby also have a a nice selection of fabrics.

Crochet Hooks Cushions – No more sore hands from Crochet

Cushions for your Crochet Hooks –  Say good-bye to sore hands

I have thought of ways to add affordable and comfy cushions for my crochet hooks because  I love, love, love  to crochet… did I mention I love to crochet? One of the bad side effects can sometimes be sore hands especially when using small hooks. I have come up with a cheap way to cushion my hooks. This method works for even my tiny thread hooks. You can find your supplies at any office supply store or even in the school supplies section of a store.  I purchased some at Office Depot and others at Dollar Tree store.   They both seem to work well.
